We invite you to an open Valentine's Day painting workshop using acrylic paints, during which we will focus on portraiture from observation. For three hours, we will work in pairs or small groups, sitting facing each other and creating portraits in a chosen, free style – impressionistic, expressive, humorous, or more classical.
Program includes:
a brief introduction to portraiture from observation and working with acrylic paints,
painting live portraits with acrylic paints – without pressure for perfect likeness, but with emphasis on careful observation and personal expression,
at the end: a brief review of the works.
You can come alone or with another person – we will pair participants on site into pairs or small groups. The workshop is open to everyone, regardless of experience in drawing or painting.
All art materials, including acrylic paints, will be provided.
