On 17.07.2026 at 6:00 PM, the opening of the exhibition @waliczek_aleksandra — a graduate of the Painting Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow — will take place.
The presented series "Better Late" focuses on moments of transition: between what is known and what is still unfamiliar, between stopping and changing, between the attempt to close one stage and entering the next. It is a story about emotions, tensions, and states that are difficult to capture unequivocally, and which shape our inner experience.
In her work, Aleksandra Waliczek draws on personal memories, reflections related to childhood, growing up, and emotions that stay with us for a long time. She uses metaphor, allowing the images to speak in a subtle, ambiguous, and very moving way.
